India’s Best Dramebaaz is a popular Indian Hindi-language talent hunt reality show featuring kids aged 4-15, which airs on Zee TV. Unlike the usual music and dance reality shows, Best Dramebaaz is a platform for kids to showcase their acting skills, creativity, spontaneity and flair for drama through skits, monologues and scenes. The show is judged by the big names of Hindi film industry or Bollywood.
India’s Best Dramebaaz was first aired in February 2013. It is produced by Essel Productions and Frames Production. The show has completed three seasons till date, with a total of 31 episodes, all seasons combined.

India’s Best Dramebaaz Season 1 Winner- Aditya Singhal
India’s Best Dramebaaz Season 1 was first aired on 23rd February 2013. The final episode was telecasted on 25th May 2013. Judges for this season were Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre and film director Anurag Kashyap. The show was hosted by television actor Rithvik Dhanjani and television actress Ragini Khanna.
19 kids participated in the opening season. Aditya Singhal, aged 12, emerged as the winner of season 1. He was awarded a cash prize of INR 500,000 and the Golden Keeda trophy. 6 years old Nihar Gite was the runner up.
India’s Best Dramebaaz Season 2 Winner- Swasti Nitya
Second season of India’s Best Dramebaaz commenced on 12th December 2015 and ended on 5th March 2016. While Sonali Bendre and Vivek Oberoi were retained as judges for this season, Anurag Kashyap was replaced by actor and singer Sajid Khan as the third judge. Rithvik Dhanjani was joined by Ravi Dubey as a host, replacing Ragini Khanna.
The number of contestants in this season stood at 17. 11 years old Swasti Nitya was crowned the winner of second season. She was awarded a prize money of INR 500,000 and the Golden Keeda trophy. Kartikey Malviya finished as the first runner up.
India’s Best Dramebaaz Season 3 Winner- Dipali Borkar
India’s Best Dramebaaz Season 3 first premiered on 30th June 2018. The finale was held on 7th October 2018. While Vivek Oberoi continued as one of the judges, Sonali Bendre and Sajid Khan were replaced by Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi and film director Omung Kumar. The show was hosted by actor/dancer Shantanu Maheshwari and comedian Vighnesh Pande.
16 children appeared in the season as contestants. Dipali Borkar, aged 10, emerged as the winner. She won a prize money of INR 500,000 and a Golden Keeda trophy. 12 years old Anish Railkar finished as the first runner up. He was a awarded a prize money of INR 300,000 and a Silver Keeda trophy.
Conclusion
India’s Best Dramebaaz has launched many young talents in television, films and advertisements. There is no indication of a possible fourth season despite passage of over seven years since the third season.
