India’s Got Talent Winners List of All Seasons [1 to 11]

India’s Got Talent is a Indian Hindi-language television reality show which showcases extraordinary talent from across the country in acting, dancing, singing, acrobatics, comedy, yoga and more. It is a part of the global Got Talent franchise. The show features audition rounds conducted in multiple cities across India, followed by second round, quarter finals,  semi-finals and a grand finale. Public voting decides the winner in the final.

India’s Got Talent is produced by Fremantle Media and Syco Entertainment. The series began in June 2009. It premiered on Colors TV until Season 8, before shifting to Sony Entertainment Television from Season 9 onwards. Currently, the 11th season is in progress.

India’s Got Talent Season 1 Winner- Prince Dance Group

The inaugural season of India’s Got Talent got underway on 27th June 2009, with the grand finale on 22nd August 2009. 25 episodes were broadcasted through the course of the season. Judges for the opening season were Bollywood actresses Sonali Bendre and Kirron Kher, along with filmmaker Shekhar Kapur. The show was hosted by Ayushmann Khurana and Nikhil Chinapa.

Prince Dance Group from Berhampur in Odisha emerged as the winner of the inaugural season. The group’s winning act was dance inspired by Lord Vishnu’s Dashavtara. They received a prize money of INR 50,00,000. Lokmanya Tilak Group finished as the runner up.

India’s Got Talent Season 2 Winner- Shillong Chamber Choir

India’s Got Talent Season 2 first premiered on 30th July 2010, with the final episode airing on 1st October 2010. The second season comprised of 19 episodes. While Sonali Bendre and Kirron Kher continued as judges, Shekhar Kapur was replaced by film director Sajid Khan as the third judge. Both Ayushmann Khurana and Nikhil Chinapa were selected through voting by both judges and viewers to host the show yet again.

Shillong Chamber Choir, led by Neil Nongkynrih, was declared winner of season 2. The group was awarded a prize money of INR 50,00,000. Teji Toko occupied the runner up position.

India’s Got Talent Season 3 Winner- SNV Group

Third season of India’s Got Talent commenced on 30th July 2011 and concluded on 25th September 2011. The number of episodes in this season stood at 18. Both Sonali Bendre and Kirron Kher were retained as judges but Sajid Khan was replaced by veteran actor Dharmendra as the third judge. Hosts for this season were singer Meiyang Chang and model/actor Gautam Rode.

SNV Group, a hip-hop dance group from Vasai in Maharashtra, won the title. The group was awarded a prize money of INR 50,00,000. Interestingly, SNV Group was the second runner up in season 2.

India’s Got Talent Season 4 first premiered on 22nd September 2012. The grand finale was held on 24th November 2012. Fourth season ran for a total of 17 episodes. The panel of judges for this season comprised of Kirron Kher, Malaika Arora and Karan Johar. However, Malaika Arora was later replaced by Farah Khan. The show was hosted by Manish Paul and Cyrus Sahukar.

Season 4 was won by dancers Maraju Sumanth and Sonali Majumdar from Kolkata’s Bivash Dance Academy. The duo performed under the stage name of Bad Salsa. They were awarded a prize money of INR 50,00,000. Deepraj Rai finished as the runner up.

Fifth season of India’s Got Talent began airing from 11th January 2014 and ended on 8th March 2014. The number of episodes in this season was 17. Kirron Kher and Karan Johar continued as judges while Malaika Arora returned to join them as the third judge. Hosts for the fifth season were Bharti Singh and Mantra. However, Mantra was later replaced by VJ Andy.

Ragini Makkhar’s Naadyog Academy, based in Indore, MP, was declared winner of season 5. Makkhar and Naadyog Academy was awarded a prize money of INR 50,00,000.

India’s Got Talent Season 6 commenced on 18th April 2015 and concluded with a grand finale on 27th June 2015. 21 episodes were broadcasted through the course of the season. The panel of judges comprised of Kirron Kher, Malaika Arora and Karan Johar. Bharti Singh reprised her role as a host and was joined by Nakkul Mehta and Sidharth Shukla as co-hosts.

Aerial Dancer Manik Paul was crowned winner of season 6. He took home a prize money of INR 50,00,000.

Seventh season of India’s Got Talent hit the small screens on 30th April 2016. The finale was telecasted on 9th July 2016. This season comprised of 21 episodes. There was no change in the judging panel as Kirron Kher, Malaika Arora and Karan Johar reprised their roles as judges. The show was hosted by Bharti Singh and Sidharth Shukla.

Winner of season 7 was Suleiman, a 13 year old flute player from Amritsar, Punjab. He won a prize money of INR 50,00,000. The runner up position was secured by the dancing duo of Papai and Antara.

India’s Got Talent Season 8 began on 20th October 2018, with the final episode airing on 29th December 2018. 21 episodes were aired through the course of the season. The judges for this season were Kirron Kher, Malaika Arora and Karan Johar yet again. While Bharti Singh continued as a host, Sidharth Shukla was replaced by Rithvik Dhanjani as the second host.

Javed Khan, a 27-year-old close-up magician, was crowned winner of season 7. He was tied with Live 100 Experience Band in the final but won on the basis of total votes. Khan was awarded a prize money of INR 25,00,000 and a trophy.

Ninth season of India’s Got Talent got underway on 15th January 2022. The final episode was aired on 17th April 2022. This season comprised of 28 episodes. While Kirron Kher continued as one of the judges, Malaika Arora and Karan Johar were replaced by actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, lyricist Manoj Muntashir and rapper Baadshah. The show was hosted by Arjun Bijlani.

Season 9 was won by the flute and beat box duo of Divyansh and Manuraj. The duo was awarded a prize money of INR 20,00,000. Ishita Vishwakarma finished as the runner up.

India’s Got Talent Season 10 commenced on 29th July 2023 and ended on 5th November 2023. The number of episodes in this season stood at 30. Kirron Kher, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Baadshah were the judges for this season. Manoj Muntashir was possibly removed over controversies surrounding Adipurush movie, for which he wrote the dialogues. The show was hosted again by Arjun Bijlani.

Abujmarh Mallakhamb & Sports Academy emerged as the winner of season 10 and was awarded a prize money of INR 20,00,000. Raga Fusion was the runner up.

Conclusion

India’s Got Talent Season 11 is currently in progress. It started on 4th October 2025. The judges appearing in this season are Navjot Singh Sidhu, Malaika Arora and Shaan, while the host is Haarsh Limbachiyaa.
