Super Singer Season 1 Winner – Nikhil Mathew (2006)
Season 1 began on 28 April 2006, and ended on 12 August 2006. Chinmayi hosted the show. The judges included Anuradha Sriram, P. Unnikrishnan and Srinivas. The show launched new singing talent in Tamil television. Nikhil Mathew won the title through many competitive rounds. The channel granted him opportunities of playback singing and prize rewards. The season moreover provided excellent exposure to runner-up Anitha V. Karthikeyan.
Super Singer Season 2 Winner – Ajeesh (2008-2009)

Season 4 began on 4 February 2013 and finished on 1 February 2014. The show was hosted by Ma Ka Pa Anand, Priyanka and Bhavana. Among the judges were Sujatha, Mano, P. Unnikrishnan and Srinivas. Diwakar claimed the title after a great grand finale. He was also granted playback opportunities and prize rewards as well. This season patients had good viewership in the entire Tamil nadu.
Super Singer Season 5 Winner – Anand Aravindakshan (2015-2016)
The fifth season aired from 1 June 2015 until 18 March 2016. The hosts for the season were Ma Ka Pa Anand, Priyanka and Bhavana. The judges were P. Unnikrishnan, Srinivas, Mano & Usha Uthup. Anand Aravindakshan won the title and was rewarded with offers from film singing as well as prize money. The competition was fierce and the audience participation widespread.
Super Singer Season 6 Winner – Senthil Ganesh (2018)
Season 6 was broadcast from 21 January 2018 to 15 July 2018. Ma Ka Pa Anand and Priyanka were the hosts of the show. Judges were Anuradha Sriram, P Unnikrishnan, Benny Dayal and Shweta Mohan. Folk singer Senthil Ganesh won the title and cash prizes and performance opportunities. The different styles of music emphasized during the different seasons were folk and classical.
Super Singer Season 7 Winner – Murugan (2019)
Season 7 began on 27 April 2019, and ended on 10 November 2019. Ma Ka Pa Anand and Priyanka were again the hosts of the show. Judges were Anuradha Sriram, Unnikrishnan, Shweta Mohan and Benny Dayal. Murugan won the title and was given a house to the value of ₹50 lakh as the grand prize. There was strong public voting, strong media attention for the season.
Super Singer Season 8 Winner – Sridhar Sena (2021)
Season 8 debuted on 24 January, 2021 and concluded on 26 September, 2021. Ma Ka Pa Anand and Priyanka were hostesses for the season. Judges came and went out of Anuradha Sriram, P. Unnikrishnan, Benny Dayal, Shweta Mohan and others. Sridhar Sena won the title and won ₹10 lakh as prize money with a chance to go for a movie singing gig. The season had top music stars coming on special episodes.
Super Singer Season 9 Winner – Aruna Sivaya (2022-2023)
Season 9 aired from 19 November 2022 to 25 June 2023. Ma Ka Pa Anand and Priyanka were the hosts of the show. The judges were Anuradha Sriram, P Unnikrishnan, Benny Dayal and Shweta Mohan. Aruna Sivaya took the title into herself and she got an apartment worth ₹60 lakh plus ₹10 lakh in cash. The season all came with terrific performances and emotional moments.
Super Singer Season 10 (2023-2024)
Super Singer Season 10 launched on 16 December 2023 on Star Vijay took place every weekend with Makapa Anand and Priyanka Deshpande. The judges were Anuradha Sriram, Sean Roldan, Mano and Sujatha Mohan. The Grand Finale took place on 23rd of June 2024 of which the title was won by John Jerome followed by Jeevitha and Vaishnavi respectively.
Super Singer Season 11 (2025-Present)
Super Singer Season 11 premiered on 2 August 2025 on Star Vijay and continues its weekend telecast. Hosted by Makapa Anand and Priyanka Deshpande once again, the judging panel consists of Thaman S, Mysskin, Anuradha Sriram and P. Unnikrishnan. Sponsored by KAG Tiles, the first promo of this season was officially released on 14 July 2025, bringing intense anticipation among fans.
