Bigg Boss Marathi is a Marathi language television reality show based on the popular show Bigg Boss. The show features Marathi celebrities, who live together in a specially-designed house. They remain secluded from the outside world and compete against one another in tasks as they are de-voted out of the game each week.
The show was first aired in 2018 on Colors Marathi and it soon became one of the most-watched Marathi reality shows. The drama, emotions, tasks, and unexpected twists are loved by viewers. Bigg Boss Marathi Season 1 Winner – Megha Dhade
Bigg Boss Marathi Season 1 first episode was broadcast on 15 April 2018 and the last episode aired on 22 July 2018. The theme of the season was held at Lonavala on introduction of traditional style houses and Mahesh Manjrekar occupied the seat of host. A total of 18 contestants took part during 98 days. Actress Megha Dhade won the show and Pushkar Jog came as the runner-up. The winner took home ₹75 Lakh prize money. Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2 Winner – Shiv Thakare
Season 2 was the first to premiere on 26 May 2019 and finish on 1 September 2019. The house shifted to Film city Mumbai with a Royal Mansion theme. Mahesh Manjrekar came back as the host. This season had 17 contestants and it lasted for 98 days. Shiv Thakare won the title and won ₹75 lakh prize money, Neha Shitole became runner-up. Bigg Boss Marathi Season 3 Winner – Vishal Nikam
After a delay caused by the pandemic, Season 3 aired from 19 September 2021 to 26 December 2021. The theme of the show was on Culture and once again Mahesh Manjrekar hosted the season. A total of 17 contestants stayed in the house 98 days. The winner in the show was Vishal Nikam and the runner-up was Jay Dudhane. The winner received ₹40 lakh.
