Cooku with Comali is a hugely popular Indian Tamil-language comedy cooking reality show. It airs on Star Vijay TV and streams on Disney+ Hotstar. The format pairs celebrity contestants with comedians or comalis, who are amateur cooks, for hilarious weekly challenges. Comedians or comalis handle most of the cooking activities. The teams compete in Advantage Task 1 and Advantage Task 2, followed by Main Task and Immunity/Elimination Task. A pair is eliminated each week.
Cooku with Comali has completed six seasons till date. Media Masons produced the show from season one to four. Box Office Studio took over the production from season five onwards.

Cooku with Comali kicked off on 16th November 2019. The grand finale was aired on 23rd February 2020. Number of episodes in this season was 27. Chef Damodharan and Chef Venkatesh Bhat were the two judges for the debut season. Television presenter Rakshan was the main host, with Tamil actress Aranthangi Nisha as the special host.
8 celebrities participated in the opening season. Tamil actress Vanitha Vijayakumar emerged as the winner. She was awarded a prize money of INR 500,000. Tamil television star Uma Riyaz Khan was the runner up.
Cooku with Comali Season 2 Winner – Kani Thiru
Second season of Cooku with Comali commenced on 14th November 2020 and ended with a grand finale on 14th April 2021. A total of 41 episodes were telecasted in this season. Chef Damodharan and Chef Venkatesh Bhat continued as the two judges. Rakshan hosted the show again. There was no special host for this season.
9 celebrities competed against each other. Tamil actress and television personality Kani Thiru was declared winner of the second season. She took home a prize money of INR 500,000. Malayalam actress and politician Shakeela finished as the runner up.
Cooku with Comali Season 3 Winner – Shrutika Arjun
Cooku with Comali Season 3 first premiered on 22nd January 2022. The final episode was aired on 24th June 2022. Number of episodes in this season rose to 54. Judges for this season were Chef Damodharan and Chef Venkatesh Bhat yet again. Rakshan continued as the host.
10 celebrities participated in the third season. Television personality and entrepreneur Shrutika Arjun won the season and was awarded a prize money of INR 500,000. Tamil actor Darshan was the runner up.
Cooku with Comali Season 4 Winner – Mime Gopi
Fourth season of Cooku with Comali commenced on 28th January 2023 and ended on 30th July 2023. The season comprised of 53 episodes. Chef Damodharan and Chef Venkatesh Bhat continued as the two judges for this season as well. Main host Rakshan was joined by television presenter Manimegalai as the special host.
12 celebrities appeared as contestants in this season. Tamil film actor Mime Gopi emerged as the winner. He won a prize money of INR 500,000. Tamil actress Srushti Dange finished as the runner up.
Cooku with Comali Season 5 Winner – Priyanka Deshpande
Cooku with Comali Season 5 was first aired on 27th April 2024. The finale episode premiered on 29th September 2024. The number of episodes in this season stood at 46. While Chef Damodharan continued as one of the two judges, Chef Venkatesh Bhat was replaced by Chef Madhampatty Rangaraj. The host for this season was Rakshan, without any special host.

Sixth season of Cooku with Comali began on 4th May 2025 and ended on 28th September 2025. 43 episodes were broadcasted in this season. Chef Damodharan and Chef Madhampatty Rangaraj were joined by Chef Kaushik as the third judge for this season. Rakshan continued as the host.
10 celebrities competed against each other in the season. Tamil actor and television presenter Raju Jeyamohan emerged as the winner. He bagged a prize money of INR 500,000. Actress Shabana Shajahan Aryan occupied the second spot.

Second season of Cooku with Comali became one of the top-rated Tamil reality television programs on both television and the digital platform Hotstar. There is no official announcement for a seventh season yet.
