MasterChef India Telugu is an Indian Telugu-language competitive cooking reality show based on the format of MasterChef Australia. It is a part of the broader MasterChef India franchise. The show is produced by Endemol Shine India and co-produced by Innovative Film Academy. Format of the show involves contestants from diverse backgrounds competing in a series of challenges to test and showcase their culinary skills. The winner gets the title of MasterChef and a cash prize.
MasterChef India Telugu was first aired in August 2021. The show has completed two seasons till date.

MasterChef India Telugu Season 1 Winner – K. Krishna Tejasvi
Inaugural season of MasterChef India Telugu commenced on 27th August 2021 and ended on 27th November 2021. The show was broadcasted on Gemini TV and streamed on Sun NXT platform. Professional chefs Sanjay Thumma, Chalapathi Rao and Mahesh Padala appeared as judges. Actress Tamannaah Bhatia hosted the show for the first 16 episodes, followed by Telugu television presenter Anasuya Bharadwaj who became the host for episodes 17 to 24.
14 contestants competed against each other in various culinary challenges. K. Krishna Tejasvi, a home baker from Hyderabad, won the title of MasterChef. G.D. Anusha finished as the runner up.
MasterChef India Telugu Season 2 Winner – Mahboob Vin Basha
MasterChef India Telugu Season 2 began on 22nd January 2024 and concluded on 7th June 2024. The second season was not aired on any television channel but streamed exclusively on Sony LIV platform. The panel of judges comprised of chefs Chalapathi Rao, Mahesh Padala and Sanjay Thumma. Anasuya Bharadwaj continued as the host.
Mahboob Vin Basha, a pastry chef from Anantapur, won the title of MasterChef. The runner up position was secured by Jasween Kaur.
Conclusion
Season 1 and 2 of MasterChef India Telugu are available for streaming on Sony LIV. Season 3 has not been announced yet. The MasterChef franchise remains active in Hindi and other languages.
