Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai returned with a fifth season after a hiatus of almost 2 years. First episode of season 5 was aired on 29th June 2024, while the last episode premiered on 17th November 2024. The number of episodes in this season was 40. While Gopinath Chandran continued as a judge, Devadarshini Sukumaran was replaced by Tamil actress Radha as the second judge. Hosts for this season were Ma Ka Pa Anand and Aranthangi Nisha.
12 celebrity couples appeared in the fifth season. Tamil television actor and dancer Puviarasu and his wife Mohanapriya emerged as the winning couple. Tamil film actor and director Kottachi and his wife Anjali finished as the runner up couple.
